How To Measure Your Hydraulic Cylinder
Check out this (link) to let us know what kind of cylinder you have or please look at our cylinders identify/terms in support. We will need to know if you have a tie rod, welded clevis, ag clevis mount, cross tube, welded pin eye, welded tang, welded loader or swivel eye cylinder. You will also need these measurements when ordering your cylinder. Please have your extended length, retracted length, stroke, rod diameter and bore diameter when ordering. Steps for dimensions 1-5.
Step 1. Extended Length

With the rod fully extended measure from the center of the first mounting pin to the center of the second mounting pin.
Step 2. Retracted Length

You will want to measure with the rod fully retracted measure from the center of the first mounting pin to the center of the second mounting pin.
Step 3. Cylinder Stroke

For cylinder stroke take your extended length minus the retracted length.
Step 4. Rod Diameter

Measure the outside diameter of your cylinder rod.
Step 5. Bore Diameter

You will need to measure the inside of the tube to get the bore diameter.
