Identifying Your Monarch Electric Over Hydraulic Unit

Normally, your Monarch/Bucher power unit will have a blue and white identification sticker typically located on the reservoir on most models.  This will supply the model number, serial number, and pump gear code.

The ink used on these tags appears to be easily wiped out by solvents and UV exposure and can leave you with having to physically identify what model of unit that you have.

The first step is identifying the application that the unit is used for.  Our most common applications for our electric over hydraulic units fall into the following categories:

Dump truck / trailer

Lift gates

Bale spikes

Bale beds

Pumping stations

Snow plows
