COMMON 12 VOLT DC MOTORS AND DIFFERENCES

MONARCH/BUCHER/DYNAJACK

4.5″ Diameter Motors

The Monarch 08111-S is the standard electric motor used on Monarch 12V Power Units. This motor is the direct replacement for many of the previous models. This is an intermittent duty that has a very short cycle time. They are supported on the shaft end with a bearing with a bushing on the other end. This motor has a slotted shaft designed to accommodate a tang drive pump shaft.

08111-I

The Monarch 08111-I (ISKRA) is the rough-duty electric motor used on Monarch 12V Power Units. This motor is the direct replacement for many of the previous models. This is an intermittent duty that has a very short cycle time. They are supported with a bearing on both ends of the armature. This motor has a slotted shaft designed to accommodate a tang drive pump shaft.

08096

The Monarch 08196 is the extended-run motor used on Monarch 12V Power Units. This motor can be used as a direct replacement for many of the standard 08111 motors. This is still a Medium-intermittent duty that has an extended cycle time. They are supported on the shaft end with a bearing with a bushing on the other end. This motor has a slotted shaft designed to accommodate a tang drive pump shaft.

3.25″ Diameter Motors

08053

The Monarch 08053 is the standard CCW electric motor used on Monarch 12V mini-units. This motor is the direct replacement for many of the previous models. This is an intermittent-duty permanent-magnet motor that has a short cycle time. This motor has a slotted shaft designed to accommodate a tang drive pump shaft.

SPX/FENNER/STONE

1787-AC & 1789-AC

The SPX 1787-AC and the 1789-AC motors are used on many SPX/Fenner/Stone Power Units. These motors can be a direct replacement for one another. 1789-AC is the extended-run motor but is still considered a Medium-intermittent duty. This motor has a 9-tooth ½” dia. splined shaft that requires a coupling to connect to the pump shaft.

WILLIAMS MACHINE AND TOOL

2654-EW

The Williams 2654-EW is the standard electric motor used on Williams 12V EW Power Units. This Prestolite motor is the direct replacement for many of the previous models. This is an intermittent duty that has a short cycle time. This motor has a slotted shaft designed to accommodate a tang drive pump shaft.

KTI

3917

The 3917 motors are used on many KTI 12vdc Power Units. This motor has a 9-tooth ½” dia. splined shaft that requires a coupling to connect to the pump shaft. This is an intermittent duty that has a short cycle time. This motor has two terminals and a CW rotation.

MTE

39200571

The MTE 39200571 is the standard electric motor used on MTE 12Vdc Power Units. This is an intermittent duty that has a short cycle time. This motor has a slotted shaft designed to accommodate a tang drive pump shaft.
