• Size / flange range: the nominal pipe size and flange diameter the tool is rated to handle, plus the bolt-hole spacing it engages.
• Material: typically steel or alloy bodies; verify finish or coating if the tool will see corrosive or offshore service.
• Rating / capacity: the force or correction range the tool applies to draw misaligned faces together; check the manufacturer's stated working load.
• Application: whether you are closing a gap, correcting rotational offset, or aligning bolt holes, and whether the joint is horizontal or vertical.

Which Flange Alignment Tool Is Right for the Job?

Confirm fit by matching the tool's rated flange range to your nominal pipe size and verifying the bolt-hole pattern engages cleanly.
