Product Selection Guide

These FluiDyne V20 Series single stage vane pumps are all direct Vickers replacements, sharing the same SAE ‘A’ 2-bolt mounting pattern and 2500 PSI maximum pressure rating, but differ in flow rate, displacement, rotation direction, shaft type, port orientation, and minor speed variations. These differences allow selection tailored to specific hydraulic system requirements, such as flow demand, motor compatibility, and installation constraints.

?? Important: The specifications shown are for reference and comparison purposes. Always verify specifications with the official manufacturer documentation or contact our technical team at (800) 823-4937 before ordering to ensure compatibility with your application. We cannot accept returns due to specification mismatches.

Model Number Flow Rate Max Pressure Displacement Mounting
WF8201321 (Current) 5.7 GPM 2500 PSI 18.0 cm³/r (1.10 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF820135 6.2 GPM 2500 PSI 19.5 cm³/r (1.19 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF8201371 6.2 GPM 2500 PSI 19.5 cm³/r (1.19 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF8201358 6.2 GPM 2500 PSI 19.5 cm³/r (1.19 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF8201312 9.4 GPM 2500 PSI 29.7 cm³/r (1.81 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)

Key Differences

Flow Rate & Displacement

Difference: Flow rates range from 5.7 GPM (1.10 in³/r) up to 9.4 GPM (1.81 in³/r); displacement increases with higher GPM.

Selection Guide: Select a model with the flow rate/displacement that matches your system’s output needs. For example, choose WF8201312 for highest flow (9.4 GPM) or WF8201321 for more modest requirements (5.7 GPM).

Rotation Direction

Difference: WF8201321 is left-hand (counter-clockwise); all others are right-hand (clockwise).

Selection Guide: Match pump rotation to your prime mover. Choose WF8201321 only if your system requires counter-clockwise input; otherwise, select a right-hand model.

Shaft Type & Size

Difference: Shafts available as 3/4″ keyed (WF8201321, WF820135), 7/8″ threaded with Woodruff key (WF8201371), or 9-tooth splined (WF8201358, WF8201312).

Selection Guide: Choose keyed shafts for standard couplings or splined/threaded shafts for higher torque applications or specialized couplings, per your motor/drive requirements.

Port Position & Type

Difference: Port positions include 180° (opposite), 90° clockwise, and inline (0°); most models use NPT threads, but WF8201312 has a 1-1/16″-12 straight thread outlet.

Selection Guide: For straight line piping, choose inline port models (WF8201358, WF8201312). For offset or space-constrained layouts, 90° or 180° models (WF8201321, WF820135, WF8201371) may be preferable. Match port thread type to your system fittings.

Maximum Speed

Difference: Max RPM ranges from 2800 (WF8201312) to 3400 RPM (WF820135, WF8201371).

Selection Guide: If your application runs at higher motor speeds (up to 3400 RPM), select WF820135 or WF8201371; for lower speed systems, all models are suitable.

Quick Selection Guide

If you need: Counter-clockwise (left-hand) rotation with moderate flow (5.7 GPM)

Choose: WF8201321

Because: It is the only left-hand model in this group and offers moderate flow for matched systems.

If you need: Standard clockwise rotation and slightly higher flow (6.2 GPM)

Choose: WF820135 or WF8201371

Because: Both models offer 6.2 GPM at 1200 RPM with standard or threaded shaft options for different couplings.

If you need: Higher flow rates or splined shaft for high torque

Choose: WF8201358 (7 GPM) or WF8201312 (9.4 GPM)

Because: These models provide increased flow and feature a 9-tooth splined shaft for improved torque transfer and specialty drive requirements.

If you need: Inline porting and highest available flow

Choose: WF8201312

Because: It provides 9.4 GPM with inline ports and a splined shaft—ideal for high flow and direct plumbing in compact or high-power circuits.

Compatibility: All models are direct Vickers V20 replacements, 100% interchangeable, and share SAE ‘A’ 2-bolt mounting with BSPP straight thread ports for straightforward installation in most hydraulic systems.
