Product Selection Guide

These FluiDyne V20 Series hydraulic vane pumps all offer direct Vickers interchangeability, SAE ‘A’ 2-bolt mounting, and similar porting, but differ in flow rate, displacement, pressure rating, shaft type, port orientation, and cover features. Key distinctions include output capacity, shaft configuration, and flow control options, which should be matched to your system’s requirements for optimal performance and fit.

?? Important: The specifications shown are for reference and comparison purposes. Always verify specifications with the official manufacturer documentation or contact our technical team at (800) 823-4937 before ordering to ensure compatibility with your application. We cannot accept returns due to specification mismatches.

Model Number Flow Rate Max Pressure Displacement Mounting
WF820811 (Current) 6.2 GPM 2500 PSI 19.5 cm³/r (1.19 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF820816 11.5 GPM 2500 PSI 36.3 cm³/r (2.22 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF820819 11.5 GPM 2500 PSI 36.3 cm³/r (2.22 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF8201811 13.5 GPM 2500 PSI 42.6 cm³/r (2.60 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF8201212 13.5 GPM 2500 PSI 42.6 cm³/r (2.60 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)

Key Differences

Flow Rate & Displacement

Difference: WF820811 delivers 6.2 GPM (1.19 in³/r); WF820816 and WF820819 provide 11.5 GPM (2.22 in³/r); WF8201811 and WF8201212 offer 13.5 GPM (2.60 in³/r).

Selection Guide: Choose lower displacement (WF820811) for compact systems with modest hydraulic demand; select WF820816/WF820819 for mid-range flow; opt for WF8201811/WF8201212 when higher output is required.

Maximum Pressure

Difference: WF820811, WF820816, WF820819 rated to 2500 PSI; WF8201811 and WF8201212 specify 2200 PSI in some descriptions, but 2500 PSI in tabular specs.

Selection Guide: For maximum pressure requirements at or near 2500 PSI, confirm actual pump rating before selection—WF820811, WF820816, and WF820819 are fully specified at 2500 PSI.

Shaft Type & Size

Difference: WF820811: 3/4″ straight keyed shaft; WF820816: 11-tooth splined shaft; WF820819: 11-tooth splined shaft (longer extension); WF8201811: special shaft (Code 39); WF8201212: 7/8″ threaded shaft with Woodruff key.

Selection Guide: Choose shaft style to match your drive coupling—splined for high torque (WF820816/WF820819), threaded if required (WF8201212), or standard keyed for most applications (WF820811).

Port Size & Orientation

Difference: WF820811, WF8201811, WF8201212: 1-1/4″ NPT inlet / 3/4″ NPT outlet; WF820816: 1-5/8″-12 inlet / 1-1/16″-12 outlet; port positions vary (inline, 90°, 180°).

Selection Guide: Select NPT threading for direct pipe connections (WF820811, WF8201811, WF8201212) or straight-thread ports for leak-resistant hydraulic fittings (WF820816). Port orientation (inline/0°, 90°, or 180°) affects plumbing layout—choose to best suit your installation space.

Rotation Direction

Difference: WF820811 and WF820819: Left-Hand (Counter-Clockwise); WF820816, WF8201811, WF8201212: Right-Hand (Clockwise).

Selection Guide: Match pump rotation to your drive—verify motor direction before ordering.

Quick Selection Guide

If you need: Lowest flow for compact or low-demand circuits

Choose: WF820811

Because: It provides 6.2 GPM at 1200 RPM with a standard keyed shaft—ideal for smaller systems.

If you need: Mid-level flow (11.5 GPM) with high torque shaft

Choose: WF820816

Because: It offers 11.5 GPM and an 11-tooth splined shaft, supporting high-torque drives.

If you need: Mid-level flow (11.5 GPM) with flow control and relief

Choose: WF820819

Because: It adds an integrated flow control (8 GPM) and 1500 PSI relief valve for added system protection.

If you need: Maximum flow (13.5 GPM) and alternate shaft options

Choose: WF8201811 or WF8201212

Because: Both reach 13.5 GPM with different shaft and port configurations to match diverse installation requirements.

Compatibility: All models are 100% direct Vickers replacements with SAE J744 ‘A’ 2-bolt mounting and G1″/G1/2″ BSPP ports, ensuring easy interchange with existing Vickers pumps.
