Product Selection Guide

These hydraulic pumps from the FluiDyne V20 Series are all direct Vickers replacements, designed for easy interchangeability in systems using SAE ‘A’ 2-bolt mounting. The main differences are flow rate, displacement, shaft configuration, rotation direction, and port types. For a complete range of single stage vane pumps, see our category overview. Selecting the right model depends on your required flow, available speed, port compatibility, shaft/coupling requirements, and rotation direction for your system. To explore all vane pumps and their specifications, visit our dedicated section.

?? Important: The specifications shown are for reference and comparison purposes. Always verify specifications with the official manufacturer documentation or contact our technical team at (800) 823-4937 before ordering to ensure compatibility with your application. We cannot accept returns due to specification mismatches.

Model Number Flow Rate Max Pressure Displacement Mounting
WF8201639 (Current) 5.7 GPM 2500 PSI 18.0 cm³/r (1.10 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF820169 13.5 GPM 2500 PSI 42.6 cm³/r (2.60 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF8201695 13.5 GPM 2500 PSI 42.6 cm³/r (2.60 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF8201611 6.2 GPM 2500 PSI 19.5 cm³/r (1.19 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF820168 6.2 GPM 2500 PSI 19.5 cm³/r (1.19 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)

Key Differences

Flow Rate & Displacement

Difference: WF8201639 delivers 5.7 GPM (1.10 in³/r), WF8201611 and WF820168 deliver 6.2 GPM (1.19 in³/r), while WF820169 and WF8201695 provide 13.5 GPM (2.60 in³/r) at 1200 RPM.

Selection Guide: Choose WF820169 or WF8201695 for higher-output circuits needing 13.5 GPM. For lower flows, WF8201611, WF820168, or WF8201639 are suitable.

Rotation Direction

Difference: WF8201639, WF8201611, WF820168, and WF820169 are right-hand (clockwise). WF8201695 is left-hand (counter-clockwise).

Selection Guide: Match pump rotation to your drive shaft direction. Use WF8201695 for systems requiring left-hand (CCW) rotation.

Shaft Configuration

Difference: WF8201639, WF8201611, WF820168 have 3/4″ straight keyed shafts; WF820169/1695 feature 11-tooth splined shafts (with 2.94″ or 1.25″ extensions).

Selection Guide: Select splined shafts for higher torque or when using splined couplings. Use straight keyed shafts for standard couplings.

Port Type & Size

Difference: WF8201639 and WF8201611 have 1-1/4″ NPT inlet and 3/4″ NPT outlet; WF820169, WF8201695, and WF820168 use 1-1/4″ NPT inlet and 1-1/16″-12 straight thread outlet.

Selection Guide: Ensure port type matches your system plumbing. Use straight thread ports (WF820169, WF8201695, WF820168) for leak-resistant, high-pressure fittings.

Speed Ratings

Difference: WF8201611 and WF820168 allow up to 3400 RPM max speed, while others are rated to 2400–3000 RPM.

Selection Guide: For higher-speed drives, choose WF8201611 or WF820168.

Quick Selection Guide

If you need: High flow rate (13.5 GPM) at 1200 RPM

Choose: WF820169 (right-hand) or WF8201695 (left-hand)

Because: These models provide nearly 2.5× the output of others, ideal for larger actuators or parallel circuits.

If you need: Standard flow (6.2 GPM) with higher speed capability

Choose: WF8201611 or WF820168

Because: Both are rated to 3400 RPM max, suited for variable speed drives.

If you need: Compact low-flow application and standard shaft coupling

Choose: WF8201639

Because: Offers 5.7 GPM with a 3/4″ keyed shaft for simple installations.

If you need: Splined shaft for high-torque or specialty couplings

Choose: WF820169, WF8201695, or WF820168

Because: These models have 11-tooth splined shafts, preferred in demanding or OEM applications.

Compatibility: All models are 100% Vickers interchangeable, follow SAE J744 mounting, and use SAE ‘A’ 2-bolt flanges with G1″/G1/2″ BSPP ports for easy retrofit or replacement in existing systems. See our full lineup of Vickers replacement pumps for more options.
