Product Selection Guide

These single stage vane pumps applications in the FluiDyne V20 Series hydraulic vane pumps are all direct Vickers replacements, ideal for applications requiring up to 2500 PSI and standard SAE ‘A’ mounting. For more options, browse our selection of vane pumps. The primary differences among the models are flow rate (GPM), displacement (in³/rev), shaft type and rotation, port orientation, and maximum speed, allowing you to match pump output and configuration to your system’s specific needs.

?? Important: The specifications shown are for reference and comparison purposes. Always verify specifications with the official manufacturer documentation or contact our technical team at (800) 823-4937 before ordering to ensure compatibility with your application. We cannot accept returns due to specification mismatches.

Model Number Flow Rate Max Pressure Displacement Mounting
WF820652 (Current) 9.4 GPM 2500 PSI 29.7 cm³/r (1.81 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF820653 8.4 GPM 2500 PSI 26.6 cm³/r (1.62 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF820657 12.5 GPM 2500 PSI 39.5 cm³/r (2.41 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF8201811 13.5 GPM 2500 PSI 42.6 cm³/r (2.60 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF8201212 13.5 GPM 2500 PSI 42.6 cm³/r (2.60 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)

Key Differences

Flow Rate and Displacement

Difference: WF820653 provides the lowest flow at 8.4 GPM (1.62 in³/rev), WF820652 offers 9.4 GPM (1.81 in³/rev), WF820657 supplies 12.5 GPM (2.41 in³/rev), while WF8201811 and WF8201212 both deliver the highest at 13.5 GPM (2.60 in³/rev).

Selection Guide: Choose lower displacement models (WF820653, WF820652) for smaller actuators or systems needing less flow. Opt for higher displacement (WF8201811, WF8201212) when more rapid movement or multiple functions are required.

Rotation Direction

Difference: WF820652, WF820657, WF8201811, and WF8201212 are right-hand (clockwise); WF820653 is left-hand (counter-clockwise).

Selection Guide: Match rotation to your drive motor direction. Use WF820653 for left-hand systems; all others for right-hand.

Shaft Configuration

Difference: WF820652, WF820657, and WF8201811 use a 3/4″ straight shaft with key (1.75″ extension); WF820653 offers a longer 2.66″ extension; WF8201212 features a 7/8″ threaded shaft with Woodruff key.

Selection Guide: Select shaft type and extension length based on your coupling or drive hub requirements. Use WF8201212 if a threaded shaft is needed.

Port Position

Difference: WF820652, WF820657, and WF8201811 have ports inline with the inlet (0°); WF820653 and WF8201212 have ports opposite the inlet (180°).

Selection Guide: Inline ports are best for direct, straight plumbing; 180° ports help in restrictive or compact installations.

Maximum Speed and Pressure

Difference: WF820652, WF820653: 2800 RPM max; WF820657, WF8201811, WF8201212: 2400 RPM max. All rated up to 2500 PSI.

Selection Guide: For higher RPM operation, select WF820652 or WF820653. All models handle up to 2500 PSI.

Quick Selection Guide

If you need: Lowest possible flow for smaller actuators or slow movement

Choose: WF820653 (8.4 GPM, 1.62 in³/rev, left-hand rotation)

Because: Minimizes energy use and heat for compact systems; only left-hand option.

If you need: Moderate flow with right-hand rotation and inline ports

Choose: WF820652 (9.4 GPM, 1.81 in³/rev)

Because: Fits standard right-hand drives and straight-line plumbing.

If you need: Higher flow for faster or multi-function systems

Choose: WF820657 (12.5 GPM, 2.41 in³/rev, right-hand, inline ports)

Because: Delivers more volume for demanding applications.

If you need: Maximum flow and large displacement

Choose: WF8201811 or WF8201212 (13.5 GPM, 2.60 in³/rev, right-hand)

Because: Ideal for the largest cylinders or fastest cycle times.

If you need: Threaded shaft for unique coupling

Choose: WF8201212

Because: Only model with 7/8″ threaded shaft and 180° port position.

If you need: 180° port position for challenging plumbing layouts

Choose: WF820653 or WF8201212

Because: Ports opposite the inlet simplify plumbing in confined spaces.

Compatibility: All models are 100% Vickers replacement pumps, use SAE ‘A’ 2-bolt mounting, and feature G1″/G1/2″ BSPP straight thread ports for seamless replacement.
