Product Selection Guide

These FluiDyne V20 Series vane pumps differ primarily in flow rate, displacement, shaft type, rotation direction, port position, and maximum speed. If you need other models in this family, see our single stage vane pumps selection. All models are direct Vickers replacements, share SAE ‘A’ 2-bolt mounting, and use G1″/G1/2″ BSPP straight thread ports, ensuring 100% interchangeability for Vickers applications.

?? Important: The specifications shown are for reference and comparison purposes. Always verify specifications with the official manufacturer documentation or contact our technical team at (800) 823-4937 before ordering to ensure compatibility with your application. We cannot accept returns due to specification mismatches.

Model Number Flow Rate Max Pressure Displacement Mounting
WF8201243 (Current) 5.7 GPM 2500 PSI 18.0 cm³/r (1.10 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF8201212 (V201P13P3A11R – FluiDyne V20 Pump) 13.5 GPM 2500 PSI 42.6 cm³/r (2.60 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF8201208 (V201P13P39C11R – FluiDyne V20 Pump) 13.5 GPM 2500 PSI 42.6 cm³/r (2.60 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF8201299 (V201P5P18C11R – FluiDyne V20 Pump) 5.7 GPM 2500 PSI 18.0 cm³/r (1.10 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)

Key Differences

Flow Rate & Displacement

Difference: WF8201243 and WF8201299 deliver 5.7 GPM (1.10 in³/r), WF8201210 delivers 6.2 GPM (1.19 in³/r), WF8201212 and WF8201208 deliver 13.5 GPM (2.60 in³/r) at 1200 RPM.

Selection Guide: Select WF8201212 or WF8201208 for higher-flow needs; choose WF8201243, WF8201299, or WF8201210 for low-to-moderate flow applications.

Shaft Type

Difference: WF8201243 and WF8201299 use a 3/4″ straight keyed shaft; WF8201212 uses a 7/8″ threaded shaft with Woodruff key; WF8201208 offers a 9-tooth splined shaft; WF8201210 features a special shaft configuration (Code 15).

Selection Guide: Use splined or special shafts (WF8201208, WF8201210) for high-torque or OEM-specific coupling; use straight or threaded shafts for standard couplings.

Rotation Direction

Difference: WF8201243 and WF8201212 are right-hand (clockwise); WF8201299 and WF8201210 are left-hand (counter-clockwise); WF8201208 is right-hand (clockwise).

Selection Guide: Match pump rotation to your system’s drive direction—right-hand for most standard applications, left-hand for reverse rotation requirements.

Port Position

Difference: WF8201243, WF8201212, and WF8201210 have ports opposite from inlet (180°); WF8201299 and WF8201208 have ports inline with inlet (0°).

Selection Guide: Select 180° port position for traditional setups; choose 0° inline for compact or specific piping layouts.

Max Speed

Difference: WF8201210 supports up to 3400 RPM; WF8201243 and WF8201299 up to 3000 RPM; WF8201212 and WF8201208 up to 2400 RPM.

Selection Guide: Pick WF8201210 for high-speed applications; others for standard speeds as required.

Quick Selection Guide

If you need: High flow for larger actuators or rapid cycling (13+ GPM at 1200 RPM)

Choose: WF8201212 (right-hand, threaded shaft, 180° ports) or WF8201208 (right-hand, splined shaft, 0° ports)

Because: These models deliver 13.5 GPM and higher displacement, suitable for high-volume hydraulic systems.

If you need: Standard flow for smaller cylinders or moderate-duty systems (5-6 GPM)

Choose: WF8201243 (right-hand, straight shaft, 180° ports) or WF8201299 (left-hand, straight shaft, 0° ports)

Because: These provide 5.7 GPM, ideal for compact or single-cylinder circuits.

If you need: Slightly higher flow and highest operational speed (up to 3400 RPM)

Choose: WF8201210 (left-hand, special shaft, 180° ports)

Because: Offers 6.2 GPM with unique shaft configuration and supports higher speeds for demanding cycles.

If you need: Counter-clockwise rotation for reverse-driven systems

Choose: WF8201299 or WF8201210

Because: Both models offer left-hand rotation—choose based on flow and shaft requirements.

If you need: Splined shaft for high-torque coupling

Choose: WF8201208

Because: Splined shaft design provides reliable torque transmission in demanding applications.

Compatibility: All models are 100% Vickers interchangeable, use SAE ‘A’ 2-bolt flange mounting, and G1″/G1/2″ BSPP straight thread ports for seamless replacement.
