These single stage vane pumps from FluiDyne V20 Series are all direct Vickers replacements, 100% interchangeable, and share common SAE ‘A’ 2-bolt flange mounting with BSPP porting, but differ mainly in flow rate (GPM), displacement, shaft configuration, rotation, and port orientation. Model selection should be based on required system flow, pressure, rotation direction, and shaft/port compatibility with your equipment. Flow Rate & Displacement
Difference: Models provide flow rates from 6.2 GPM (19.5 cm³/r) up to 13.5 GPM (42.6 cm³/r) at 1200 RPM. For additional vane pumps with comparable specs, see our selection.
Selection Guide: Select higher GPM/displacement models (WF8202442, WF8202488) for systems needing faster actuator speeds or higher output. Lower GPM (WF8202461) is best for smaller circuits or precision applications.
Shaft Configuration
Difference: WF8202440 uses a 9-tooth splined shaft (1.25″), others use 3/4″ straight keyed shafts (most with 1.75″ or 2.66″ extension), and special shaft codes (WF8202442/488).
Selection Guide: Choose splined shafts (WF8202440) for high-torque or splined couplings; straight keyed shafts for standard couplings. Verify shaft length for coupling fit.
Rotation Direction
Difference: WF8202461 is left-hand (counter-clockwise); others are right-hand (clockwise).
Selection Guide: Match pump rotation to your drive motor—select WF8202461 only if your system requires counter-clockwise pump rotation.
Port Position/Orientation
Difference: WF8202440: outlet opposite (180°) from inlet; WF8202442/2488/2497: inline (0°); WF8202461: outlet 90° counter-clockwise from inlet.
Selection Guide: Choose port orientation to match your plumbing layout and minimize hose bends. Inline ports ease straight-line plumbing; 90° ports can save space in tight installations.
Maximum RPM
Difference: WF8202461 allows higher speed (up to 3400 RPM); others range 2400–2800 RPM.
