Product Selection Guide

These Fluidyne V20 Series hydraulic vane pump models are direct Vickers replacements, sharing SAE ‘A’ 2-bolt flange mounting and common port sizes, but they differ in flow rate, displacement, maximum pressure, shaft type, port thread, and port orientation. The choice depends on your required system flow, available port threads, and shaft compatibility with your drive setup.

?? Important: The specifications shown are for reference and comparison purposes. Always verify specifications with the official manufacturer documentation or contact our technical team at (800) 823-4937 before ordering to ensure compatibility with your application. We cannot accept returns due to specification mismatches.

Model Number Flow Rate Max Pressure Displacement Mounting
WF820063 (Current) 11.5 GPM 2500 PSI 36.3 cm³/r (2.22 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF820062 6.2 GPM 2500 PSI 19.5 cm³/r (1.19 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF820069 12.5 GPM 2500 PSI 39.5 cm³/r (2.41 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF8201811 (V201P13P39C11R – FluiDyne V20 Pump) 13.5 GPM 2500 PSI 42.6 cm³/r (2.60 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)
WF8201212 (V201P13P3A11R – FluiDyne V20 Pump) 13.5 GPM 2500 PSI 42.6 cm³/r (2.60 in³/r) 2-Bolt Flange (SAE “A” size)

Key Differences

Flow Rate & Displacement

Difference: Models span 6.2 GPM (1.19 in³/r) to 13.5 GPM (2.60 in³/r) at 1200 RPM.

Selection Guide: Use WF820062 for low-flow, lower-displacement needs (smaller actuators/circuits); select WF8201212 or WF8201811 for the highest flow/displacement requirements.

Maximum Pressure & Speed

Difference: WF820063 supports up to 2500 PSI and 2500 RPM. WF820069, WF8201811, and WF8201212 support up to 2400 RPM and 2200 PSI (spec), but max pressure listed is 2500 PSI in spec table.

Selection Guide: For higher-speed circuits or where maximum pressure is critical, confirm your application fits within both RPM and PSI limits of your chosen model. If you require assistance, our specialists have compiled real-world case studies and application examples for these Vickers replacement pumps.

Shaft Type and Size

Difference: WF820062 offers an 11-tooth splined shaft (2.94″ extension) or 3/4″ keyed (1.75″ extension); WF820063, WF820069, WF8201811, and WF8201212 use 3/4″ straight keyed shafts (some with different extensions). WF8201212 uses a 7/8″ threaded shaft with Woodruff key.

Selection Guide: If you need a splined shaft for high-torque or a specific coupling, choose WF820062. For standard keyed applications, most models apply. Use WF8201212 if a 7/8″ threaded shaft is required.

Port Thread Type

Difference: WF820062 & WF8201811/1212 use NPT (inlet/outlet); WF820063 & WF820069 use straight thread (BSPP) ports.

Selection Guide: Select NPT-threaded models for compatibility with pipe-threaded plumbing; use straight-thread (BSPP) models if your system is configured for O-ring or face-seal connections.

Port Position

Difference: WF8201212 places the outlet opposite the inlet (180°); all others have inlet and outlet inline (0°).

Selection Guide: Choose WF8201212 if your system layout requires ports on opposite sides for easier hose routing in confined spaces.

Quick Selection Guide

If you need: Lowest flow and displacement for compact or low-demand hydraulic systems

Choose: WF820062

Because: It offers 6.2 GPM at 1200 RPM and only 1.19 in³/r, making it ideal for small cylinders or circuits.

If you need: Standard flow for medium-duty circuits and keyed shaft compatibility

Choose: WF820063

Because: Provides 11.5 GPM at 2.22 in³/r with a 3/4″ keyed shaft and straight-thread ports, suitable for most mid-range hydraulic applications.

If you need: Slightly higher flow with straight-thread ports and standard shaft

Choose: WF820069

Because: Delivers 12.5 GPM at 2.41 in³/r, ideal for systems needing a bit more output but similar mounting.

If you need: Maximum available flow and displacement in this group, with NPT or threaded shaft, or special port orientation

Choose: WF8201811 or WF8201212

Because: Both provide 13.5 GPM at 2.60 in³/r, with NPT porting (WF8201811) or 7/8″ threaded shaft and 180° outlet (WF8201212), best for high-demand or special layout requirements.

Compatibility: All models are 100% Vickers interchangeable, use SAE ‘A’ 2-bolt flanges, and offer compatible port sizes for easy system replacement or upgrade. For applications requiring added functionality, explore pumps with integral valves.
