These five single stage vane pumps from the FluiDyne V20 Series all offer direct Vickers interchangeability and SAE ‘A’ 2-bolt flange mounting, but differ significantly in flow rate, displacement, rotation, shaft type, port threading, and suitable speed. These differences determine their suitability for various hydraulic system requirements, such as system flow demand, direction of rotation, and installation interface.

Flow Rate & Displacement

Difference: WF8201656, WF820169, and WF8201695 deliver 13.5 GPM at 1200 RPM (2.60 in³/r), while WF8201639 provides 5.7 GPM (1.10 in³/r) and WF8201611 outputs 6.2 GPM (1.19 in³/r).

Rotation Direction

Difference: WF8201656, WF820169, WF8201639, and WF8201611 are right-hand (clockwise), while WF8201695 is left-hand (counter-clockwise).

Selection Guide: Select WF8201695 if your system requires counter-clockwise rotation; otherwise, choose from the right-hand models.

Shaft Configuration

Difference: WF8201656 and WF8201611 feature 3/4″ straight keyed shafts; WF820169 and WF8201695 use 11-tooth splined shafts; WF8201639 has a special shaft configuration (Code 18).

Selection Guide: Choose splined shaft models (WF820169, WF8201695) for high-torque or heavy-duty coupling needs. Use straight keyed shafts (WF8201656, WF8201611) for standard, cost-effective coupling. Select WF8201639 if a special shaft is needed.

Port Thread Types

Difference: WF8201656 has 1-5/8″-12 inlet and 1-1/16″-12 outlet straight threads. WF820169, WF8201695, WF8201639, and WF8201611 use 1-1/4″ NPT inlets and 1-1/16″ or 3/4″ NPT outlets.

Selection Guide: Match port threading to your system’s plumbing. If you require BSPP straight thread ports, all models offer G1″/G1/2″ BSPP options.

Maximum Speed

Difference: WF8201656, WF820169, and WF8201695 have a max speed of 2400 RPM; WF8201639 supports up to 3000 RPM; WF8201611 allows up to 3400 RPM.

Selection Guide: For high-speed applications, choose WF8201639 or WF8201611. For standard speeds, other models suffice.

Because: Combines 13.5 GPM flow, 11-tooth splined shaft, and right-hand rotation—ideal for heavy-duty or high-vibration systems.

If you need: High flow (13.5 GPM) with left-hand (counter-clockwise) rotation

Choose: WF8201695

Because: Same flow and shaft as WF820169, but for systems requiring reverse rotation.

If you need: Low flow for compact or precision systems (5.7–6.2 GPM)

Because: Lower displacement and flow rates suit smaller actuators or precise control needs. WF8201611 offers highest RPM capability.

If you need: Operation at higher pump speeds (up to 3400 RPM)

Because: Allows the highest maximum RPM among these models, suitable for high-speed, low-displacement applications.
