Product Selection Guide
These FluiDyne V2020 double vane pumps primarily differ in their total flow rates, pump section configurations, shaft types, rotation, port orientation, and maximum speeds. All models are direct Vickers replacements, fully compatible with SAE J744 mounting, and support up to 2500 PSI, but each combination is tailored for particular flow demands, porting setups, and installation requirements. Northern Hydraulics offers a full range of hydraulic pumps for every application.

Key Differences
Total Flow Rate
Difference: WF825032 and WF825031 both deliver 12.0 GPM; WF825036 delivers 17.0 GPM; WF825975 and WF825063 deliver 10.0 GPM.
Selection Guide: Select WF825036 for higher flow (17.0 GPM) where system demand requires it; use WF825975 or WF825063 for systems needing 10.0 GPM.
Front and Rear Pump Flow Balance
Difference: WF825032 provides equal flow on both pumps (6 GPM each); WF825031 is front-heavy (11 GPM front, 1 GPM rear); WF825036 is slightly front-heavy (9 GPM front, 8 GPM rear); WF825975 and WF825063 have single-section operation (10 GPM front, 0 GPM rear).
Selection Guide: Choose balanced models (WF825032, WF825036) for circuits needing dual flows; choose single-section output (WF825975, WF825063) for applications running only one circuit.
Maximum Speed
Difference: WF825032 allows up to 3400 RPM; WF825036 allows 2800 RPM; WF825031, WF825975, and WF825063 are limited to 1800 RPM.
Selection Guide: Use WF825032 when high RPM is needed; select WF825036 for moderately high RPM; use others for standard 1800 RPM operation.
Shaft Type
Difference: WF825032 and WF825031 use straight keyed shafts; WF825036, WF825975, and WF825063 use 13-tooth splined shafts.
Selection Guide: Choose straight keyed shafts for standard couplings; select splined shafts (WF825036, WF825975, WF825063) for high-torque or heavy-duty drives. For other configurations, see our vane pumps selection.
Rotation Direction
Difference: WF825032, WF825031, WF825036, and WF825063 are right-hand (clockwise); WF825975 is left-hand (counter-clockwise).
Selection Guide: Use WF825975 for counter-clockwise drive requirements; all others for clockwise systems.
Port Orientation
Difference: WF825032, WF825031, and WF825036 have both outlets inline with inlet (0°); WF825975 and WF825063 have outlets opposite inlet (180°).
Selection Guide: Select inline (0°) for straightforward plumbing; choose 180° for installations where outlet positioning must be opposite the inlet. For applications requiring single section operation, browse our single stage vane pumps.
For more demanding circuits, you may also consider FluiDyne V20 models designed for similar or higher pressure and displacement requirements.
Quick Selection Guide
If you need: Balanced dual flows at high RPM (6 GPM + 6 GPM, up to 3400 RPM)
Choose: WF825032
Because: Ideal for dual-circuit systems requiring equal flow or high-speed operation.
If you need: High single flow with low auxiliary flow (11 GPM + 1 GPM)
Choose: WF825031
Because: Best for systems with a primary circuit and a minimal secondary demand.
If you need: Largest total flow (17 GPM, 9 GPM + 8 GPM) with splined shaft
Choose: WF825036
Because: Suited for demanding applications requiring maximum capacity and higher torque transmission.
If you need: Single-circuit operation with 10 GPM and 180° outlet orientation
Choose: WF825975 (left-hand) or WF825063 (right-hand)
Because: Best for compact systems where only one output is used but port direction is critical.
Compatibility: All models are direct Vickers replacements, fully SAE J744 compliant, and use G1″/G1/2″ BSPP ports for easy interchangeability. For more information about compatibility, see our full range of Vickers replacement pumps.
