These five FluiDyne V2020 double vane pump models are all direct Vickers replacements, but differ in their front and rear pump flow rates, total output, port orientation, rotation, and shaft type. Selecting the right model depends on your system’s required total flow, configuration constraints, and direction of rotation. Front and Rear Pump Flow Rates

Difference: WF8251054 and WF8251074 both offer 18.0 GPM total flow (WF8251054: 9+9 GPM; WF8251074: 11+7 GPM). WF8251091 provides 17.0 GPM (11+6 GPM). WF8251014 and WF8251052 provide lower total flow at 14.0 GPM (12+2 GPM).

Selection Guide: Choose WF8251054 or WF8251074 for higher-demand circuits needing balanced or higher output; WF8251014 or WF8251052 for applications where lower total flow suffices or where a small secondary flow is needed.

Maximum Speed

Difference: WF8251054 and WF8251074 can operate up to 2800/2500 RPM, supporting higher-speed systems. WF8251014 and WF8251052 are limited to 1800 RPM due to their low-flow rear stage.

Selection Guide: Select higher-RPM models (WF8251054, WF8251074, WF8251091) for systems with rapid cycling or where high shaft speed is required.

Port Orientation

Difference: WF8251054 and WF8251074 have both outlets inline with inlet (0°). WF8251091 has front outlet at 90° CCW and rear at 180°. WF8251014 has both outlets opposite inlet (180°). WF8251052 has both outlets inline (0°).

Selection Guide: Choose inline (0°) for straightforward plumbing; 90°/180° models (WF8251091, WF8251014) where offset connections simplify installation in compact or restrictive layouts.

Rotation Direction

Difference: WF8251054, WF8251074, and WF8251014 are left-hand (CCW), while WF8251091 and WF8251052 are right-hand (CW).

Selection Guide: Match rotation to your drive motor—select left-hand models for CCW drives and right-hand for CW drives.

Shaft Type

Difference: WF8251074 offers a 13-tooth splined shaft for higher torque applications, while others use straight keyed shafts.

Because: Port configuration (90°/180°) fits compact installations and right-hand rotation matches CW drives.

If you need: Lower total flow (14.0 GPM) with a dominant main circuit and left-hand rotation
