Bucher/Monarch Hydraulics Power Units & Parts

Bucher/Monarch traces to 1856, when Joseph Jackoboice founded a precision machinery business in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The line moved to hydraulic pumps and valves in the 1940s and ran for decades as Monarch Hydraulics until Bucher Hydraulics acquired the company in December 2007. The Grand Rapids and Newaygo, Michigan operations build hydraulic power units (power packs), directional control valves, external and internal gear pumps, cylinders, and Dyna-Lift ergonomic height-adjustable systems for dump trailers, scissor lifts, snow plows, lift gates, and compactors. Northern Hydraulics supplies replacement and equivalent parts for Monarch power units and components, along with current Bucher Hydraulics products built on the Monarch manufacturing heritage.

Cross-Referencing Bucher/Monarch Parts

Because Monarch components transitioned to Bucher Hydraulics equivalents after the December 2007 acquisition, many legacy Monarch power pack parts now carry current Bucher model numbers. Discontinued reservoirs, valve cartridges, solenoids, coils, and pump assemblies cross-reference to active Bucher equivalents, and Northern Hydraulics keeps parts diagrams and cross-reference data for legacy Monarch models. Whether you have an obsolete M-Series part number, a worn power pack, or an unreadable nameplate, we can identify the equivalent replacement. Send your Monarch or Bucher model and part numbers and request a cross-reference quote.
