Gresen Hydraulics designs and manufactures directional control valves, pressure relief valves, sectional valve assemblies, vane pumps, motors, cylinders, accumulators, rotary actuators, filters, and electronic controls for industrial, mobile, and marine hydraulic applications. Parker Hannifin acquired Gresen from Dana Corporation in February 2000, and the line is now supported through Parker’s Hydraulic Valve Systems Division. In 2003 the Gresen vane pump product line passed to CRS Service, which builds replacement pumps from Rochester Hills, Michigan. Northern Hydraulics does not stock new Gresen-branded units; we cross-reference legacy Gresen valves and pumps to current Parker equivalents and replacement parts so you can keep older equipment running.
Cross-Referencing Gresen Hydraulics Parts
Most Gresen service work today is a cross-reference problem: an aging directional control valve, a sectional stack, or a vane pump that no longer carries an active part number. Parker Hannifin publishes a Gresen Casting Identification Guide that maps Gresen casting numbers to Parker equivalent products, and that guide is the starting point for identifying a discontinued V10, V20, V26, V40, or V42 directional valve, an SP, SPK, or SSK sectional body, an RP60A relief valve, or a TB/TC-series vane pump.
Send us the casting number, the model marking, or a photo of the nameplate, and we trace the Gresen part to a Parker equivalent or a functional replacement and quote it. For CRS-supported TB and TC vane pumps, we match the obsolete Gresen pump to the current CRS interchange. For any out-of-production Gresen valve, we identify the equivalent and source it.
