How to Choose an Enerpac MP-Series Hand Pump

Match the pump to the fluid, the pressure target and the work volume before you order. Confirm these specs against the MP-Series model you are replacing or the cylinder you plan to drive:

• Fluid compatibility — verify the pump is rated for your media (water, oil or other fluid); multifluid construction is the reason to choose this series.
• Maximum pressure (PSI) — Enerpac high-pressure tools commonly target 10,000 PSI (700 bar); confirm the rating stamped on your unit.
• Displacement and usable oil volume (CID / GPM) — sizes the cylinder stroke you can complete per stroke and total reservoir capacity.
• Two-speed vs. single-speed operation — two-speed pumps advance faster at low load, then shift to high pressure under resistance.
• Port and coupler thread — confirm the outlet port size and coupler half so it mates to your hose.
• Mount and handle configuration — bench, base or portable layouts affect where the pump can be used.

Which Enerpac Pump Is Right for the Job?

The MP-Series is a manual pump for jobs without power or where portability outweighs cycle speed. When the duty cycle or volume grows, an electric or cordless pump is the better match.
