Cylinder itself seems well built and the tonnage is there, but the lock nut was a bit stiff out of the box and took some working in before it threaded smoothly. Nothing that stopped us from getting the job done but worth knowing ahead of time. Probably fine long term.
Fit perfect.
This thing is an absolute tank. We've been using it in our press shop for about three months now, pushing some seriously heavy tooling and it hasn't skipped a beat — lock nut holds position solid, no creep at all under load.
Bought this to replace an older unit we had in a bridge press and the fit and finish on this Enerpac is noticeably better than what we were running before. Shipping was faster than I expected and it arrived well packaged. No complaints at all.
