Wrench itself hits hard and the swing hammer action is noticeably smoother than our old unit. Only reason I'm not giving it full marks is the hose connection was a real pain to get seated the first time — probably just needed a little cleanup on the port threads but still took longer than it should.
Received it and the feathering mechanism was already not working right — impact intensity jumps all over the place and won't hold a setting. Contacted customer service and I'm still waiting to hear back after a week and a half. Frustrating when you need the tool and it shows up unusable.
Been running this wrench on heavy equipment lug nuts all season and it hasn't skipped a beat. The adjustable impact intensity is the feature I didn't know I needed — crank it down for the smaller stuff, open it up when you're breaking loose a rusted axle nut that's been on there since the Clinton administration. Thing's a tank.
Tool arrived quick and works exactly like I hoped. Already used it on two jobs.
Put it to work immediately on a trailer refurb, big corroded bolts that hadn't moved in years. The swing hammer mechanism just keeps hammering through and the torque at the high end is genuinely impressive. Good tool.
