Used it twice now, no issues. Feels like quality.
Cylinder arrived with a small dent in the cardboard and the foam was shifted around inside, so something got a little rough in transit — but the cylinder itself had no damage and performed fine once we put it to work. Strokes clean, seals are holding, and the weight savings over a steel unit is real. Would order again.
Bought this to do some press work in the shop and it handles 20 tons without flinching. Enerpac builds good stuff, this is no exception.
Quality feels right for the price. Aluminum keeps the weight down without sacrificing anything that I can tell. Happy with it.
Really happy with the build quality on this — aluminum is lighter than I expected and the plunger strokes smooth. Only reason I'm not giving it top marks is the instruction sheet inside the box was basically useless, but if you've used hydraulic cylinders before that's no big deal.
