This replaced an older unit we'd been limping along for years and the difference is night and day. The electric box is well built and the controls are intuitive, had it up and running in under an hour.
Been running this pump hard on a bridge repair job for three weeks straight, zero issues. The LCD panel is actually useful — not just a gimmick — and the solenoid response is crisp. Thing's a tank.
Good pump overall and the flow rate at pressure is right where it needs to be for our shop press work. Only thing keeping this from a perfect score is the cord length — a little short for how we needed to position it. Would still buy again.
Quality is definitly there — feels like a professional grade unit and the solenoid valve cycles smooth under full load. Shipping took a few extra days but Northern Hydraulics kept me updated so not a big deal. Happy with it overall.
Works fine but the instructions that came with it were pretty confusing for wiring up the electric box. Took me longer than it should have to get it dialed in. Once it was running though, no complaints with the performance itself, just wish the setup docs were better.
