Does exactly what we needed it to do.
Winch itself is excellent, heavy duty and pulls smooth under load. Shipping took a little longer than I expected but Northern Hydraulics kept me updated so not a big deal.
It pulls fine and the worm gear setup feels solid, but the drum alignment gave me a headache during install — took some fiddling to get the line to spool clean. Once it was dialed in it's been okay, just wasn't plug and play like I hoped.
This winch has handled everything I've thrown at it. Wired it into an existing panel, barely took an afternoon, and it's been running clean ever since. Northern Hydraulics had it out the door fast too — I'll definitly be ordering from them again.
